Maple Blondies

Delicious dessert with the flavors of fall

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 10 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13×9 -inch baking pan.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and ginger in a medium bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine butter, sugar and syrup. Whisk in eggs and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture.
  4. Pour batter in prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  6. Cut into 12 large or 24 bite-size squares.
