Christmas Morning Cream Biscuits

Made with whole cream these biscuits are a little bit of heaven.


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cream
  • 23 tablespoons butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in a mixing bowl.
  3. Slowly add the cream, stirring to incorporate. If the dough is too wet, add more flour a little at a time. Stir until well combined.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 3/4-inch thickness.
  5. Using a dough cutter or jar, cut the dough into rounds. Place the rounds on a parchment or Silpat lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush each round of dough with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
