Place chicken in crockpot. Mix tamari, honey, orange juice, tomato paste, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger together in a small bowl. Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours. remove chicken from crockpot and cut into bite size pieces. Strain cooking liquid into a small sauce pan and cook over medium heat until it has reduced by half. Spoon sauce over chicken and rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
In a sauce pan with a fitted lid, heat sesame oil. Add rice and stir until coated and fragrant. Add water or broth. Stir once. Bring rice to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve.
