Well one of my favorite is: http://blog.myhomeinthesmokies.com/2010/10/family-recipes-grandmas-pecan-pie.html . Another is http://blog.myhomeinthesmokies.com/2010/10/family-recipes-moist-pound-cake.html . I will have to come back with my dad’s coconut cake recipe. Just love it!
Every holiday that we ever had growing up at my grandma’s and my parents, the pecan pie was on the table. Whether I cooked it or my dad/grandma cooked it, we had it. I am still carrying on the tradition. Baking that pie is just a little reminder of who taught me to cook and bake. Miss them tremendously. 🙂 Blessings to you!!
