Be an active listener today. Take a moment to talk with someone who needs an listening ear. We interact with countless people in a day, even while running errands! Stop and ask someone how she is doing, and then be an active listener.

Day #3 Challenge Option: Go to a nursing home and befriend someone who is lonely. My mother-in-law lives in a nursing home in our neighborhood. We have friends who stop by and visit her often. It means the world to her (and to us!) when friends stop to visit.
