Be the church

A tale of two men, a Turkish Bible in a glovebox, and the power of the Gospel.

I am truly inspired by these young men and their mission field which is right here in my own backyard.

Sometimes go means stay.

Encourage one another,

As a Longhorn Grad, Former Austinite, Once Upon A Time Sorority Sister, Daughter of the King, and Expat, I love ALL the rich layers of this story!
    Thanks for sharing!

Such an inspiring and encouraging story, it’s too bad videos like these aren’t shown on the daily 6:00 news! Check out what is going on just down the road in College Station, TX at Breakaway Ministries http://breakawayministries.org/ . I just started to volunteer for this ministry last semester and I know that God is using it to change the hearts and paths of many college students, introducing them to a God-centered lifestyle! We have podcasts for free on iTunes, check them out!

Mrs. Schell, it was a pleasure running into you today at Barnes & Noble! It made my day to see that college students aren’t the only ones behind this resurgence of the 21st century RADICAL faith movement! I would love to keep in touch and also get a list of book recommendations from you!

Meet Kristin

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

I'm on a mission to love my neighbors. I put an ordinary picnic table in my front yard, painted it turquoise and invited neighbors, friends, and even strangers to hang out and do life together at the Turquoise Table®.

I hope you'll join us!
