Husband & I are headed way out West today with our soon-to-be eight year old Little for a special birthday weekend. We leave in a few hours and I haven’t started packing…in fact, the suitcase is in the garage and it’s too darn cold to go out there before at least one more cup of coffee.
I thought I’d share my airplane reading with you. I’m nearly finished with both of these wonderful books and hope to polish them off this afternoon at comfortable 32,000 feet cruising level.
Have y’all read either of these books yet? I don’t like to recommend books before I’ve finished them, but I’ve read enough of both books to know these will be words I savor for a very long while.
I’ve followed Ann Voskamp’s teachings and writing for a long time at A Holy Experience, her personal blog, and The High Calling, where she is a contributor. Take a few minutes and order or download one or both of these books, check out her blog, and enjoy.
I’ll be back soon with tales and memories of a weekend with Husband and our birthday girl.
Love,

I am glad to hear that the Spirit of Food is a good read. I need to add that one to my ever growing list.
I am in the middle of One Thousand Gifts and it is fantastic. So FANTASTIC that I am going to lead a “book club” solely for it with a few friends.
