Our Valentine baby turned eleven this year. Which is obviously a reason to celebrate. To help us with some Valentine’s Day Birthday party inspiration, we turned to Bethany Mota.
Unless you have one or more tween girls living under your roof, chances are you’ve never heard of Bethany Mota. Allow me to introduce you to the YouTube teen sensation. Anna and Ellie are fans of the DIY star and I have to admit she’s hip and clever and full of inspiring ideas that are actually doable.
We’ve made several of her yummy recipes {the macaroons are delicious!} but these milkshakes take the cake. Red velvet cake, that is.

Ingredients
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons red velvet cake mix
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- whipped cream for topping
- sprinkles, of course!
Instructions
- Blend ice cream, milk, cake mix, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Pour into festive cups or soda glasses. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Serve with a straw and spoon.
