A conversation with Littlest this morning:
Mommy, why do you drink purple tea?
Hmmm…my tea is not purple sweetheart.
Yes it is, Mommy. You drink purple tea in the morning and green tea in the afternoon.
Indeed I do.
I start the day off with either coffee or my favorite Tazo Earl Grey tea. By mid-day I switch to Tazo Zen which is not only green tea, as Littlest observed, it’s green.
What is your favorite kind of tea?
Love,

I love Tazo Passion tea, mostly iced, but also warm. Zen is good, too, but Passion both warms my heart and makes me smile. It’s a shade off of purple… more of a fuschia.
Here’s hoping we get to have tea together soon.
xoxo.

Love your blog! I’m friends with Vicki at church.
This is a shameless plug for our business – Tea Embassy – a tea shop located in downtown Austin in an historic home on 9th and Rio Grande (www.teaembassy.com). We sell loose teas from all over, and my favorites range from a chocolately black tea from the Yunnan province of China, to crowd pleaser Hot Cinnamon spice (tastes like red hot candies and is naturally sweet with sweet cloves- the tea that converted me from coffee), to Japanese green tea Matcha Sench, to my favorite herbal for fighting colds – organic Ginger. Everyone else loves number one best selling C.S. Lewis blend- an Irish breakfast tea. With over 200 teas it can be overwhelming, but that’s where we come in! We specialize in helping you find your perfect “cup of tea”. We have several varieties of Earl grey you may love- one with lavender, one with vanilla, and the classic Royal Earl. If you haven’t been before, grab a friend and come visit us! We also can make you a cup of tea, but unfortunately the health department won’t let us seerve food since we don’t have a commercial kitchen. It’s one of the happiest places to visit, especially on a day such as today.
Anyway, really enjoy your site! The crockpot apricot date chicken is now in the rotation!
