31 Days: Extending the Table: A World Community Cookbook

It’s early Saturday morning. I woke up around 5:00 am, tried to read a little bit and then promptly fell back to sleep. It felt good. Clearly, I’m tired. Last night was the first Friday night since May that our entire family of six were all in town and at home. No traveling, no sleepovers, no football game, no nothing….

31 Days: What Does Outrageous Hospitality Mean To YOU?

“What does it mean to offer Outrageous Hospitality to others?” Isn’t that an awesome question? I wish I had asked it, but the question was posed on Facebook last November by the editors of The High Calling. I love this question. And, it makes me think. Really think. What does Outrageous Hospitality even mean? I responded with a blog post…

Meet Kristin

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

I'm on a mission to love my neighbors. I put an ordinary picnic table in my front yard, painted it turquoise and invited neighbors, friends, and even strangers to hang out and do life together at the Turquoise Table®.

I hope you'll join us!
